It is important that all travelers become familiar with the resources available to respond to an emergency or crisis.
International Travelers:
- Medical support, security services, and emergency assistance is provided by the University through International SOS.
- Health insurance coverage is provided by the University through International SOS. There is no enrollment required nor separate ID card. Simply use your International SOS Membership card.
- The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program provides information and notices from the U.S. State Department to U.S. Citizens traveling abroad
- The local equivalent of a 911 number can be found at U.S. Department of State Students Abroad.
Domestic Travelers:
- Emergency support is provided by local health and safety and EMS services

- Contact your trip adviser to inform him or her of the situation
