Negotiate and Review Event Contracts

For departments that have chosen to handle their own event contracting, our goal is to provide contract negotiation and review guidance to assist them with the task.  We have created two documents that provide guidance for agreements conducted at the departmental level.:

  • Guidance for Event Contract Negotiation offers five steps for successful negotiations for your meeting or event
  • Guidance for Event Contract Review addresses key elements of hotel and event contracts that should be reviewed carefully and understood fully before signing.

For future event bookings, please consider the following services offered by Procurement Services through the Travel Program:
